    My Duetto SCREAMS

After two years I am over the frustration but I will always post up my thoughts when I see something new (or that I missed) on their non-existant customer service. I sold my mkII for a loss and threw the Duetto a few times to vent that frustration. It’s still on my workbench in case of...

    My Duetto SCREAMS

I called Rupes several times, always got forwarded to someone else’s voice mail “who could help” and then no further communication. I emailed customer service from their website, no reply. Believe it when I say I exhausted my options. I even messaged Mike Phillips and he forwarded my contact...

    My Duetto SCREAMS

Glad you got resolution, all I got was silence from Todd, even after writing to Mike Phillips asking him to help. My Duetto got extremely loud then began overheating to the point you couldn't hold it. My 15le Mark II melted pads to the backing plate after doing a few small sections. The...

Have a problem with a RUPES polisher or product?

Guys I’m not trying to create havoc but I am also not making anything up. I have owned several Rupes as well as Flex, Porter Cable etc and have a decent knowledge of the technique. I was weaned on Mike’s good old 7424 video many years ago and stick with what he teaches. I’ve got a bad back...

Have a problem with a RUPES polisher or product?

As we can see neither Dylan nor Todd responds to customer posts any longer. I personally PMed Dylan from 2016+ on a Duetto that had more issues than a magazine publisher. I found "Todd" today and thought I had a new contact but his inbox "is full and will not accept messages." My guess is...

    Where do I contact Rupes?

That's good news to my ears. I've sent him two PM's over the past few months about my Duetto and no reply yet.

Issues with Rupes mk2 - 15mm and buffer trail

The Rupes and AG reps I've spoken with all know of the melting pads (melts the black velcro to the backing plate), it's just a result of the excessive heat that the Mark II's can build up in the center of the pad. It looks like the pad is caving in and you can only tell when the pad starts...

    SAMPLES (original post updated)

I have a new 250ml bottle of CarPro Essence, would like to swap for a bottle of Liquid Souveran. Text me as I rarely check this forum. 27OH-564-4412. Would also like to find someone trading a pre-owned tub of Synergy, food for thought :-)

Issues with Rupes mk2 - 15mm and buffer trail

I gave up on my Mark II, melts pads like nobody's business argh. Sold it at a huge loss to my friend and went back to my Duetto, which only overheats after 30 min. Try a finish glaze with a white pad on the holograms, they may be normal (especially with black) and require that second, more...

    Todd@Rupes need your thoughts

Well shoot swap out machines and the whole world changes lol. I have been using Pinnacle XMT pad conditioner with all my Rupes polishers since Day 1. I also prime the pad in addition to that. I just got a batch of ThinPro pads in yesterday and will try them without conditioner. :xyxthumbs:

    Todd@Rupes need your thoughts

Thanks Dylan. Todd was the first name I found so I used him. To the guys STILL posting "use the rupes pads". For the 5 millionth time I DON'T LIKE THE HARD FOAM PADS. I'll try a different pad but IT WON'T BE THE RUPES versions.
