This as well as help prevent inducing swirls while drying, no? I look at it as weekly touch touch to my paint protection without adding extra time to the weekly wash.
I used Meg's ultimate liquid wax for a while and it works well in direct sunlight. It seemed to need reapplication about every two weeks on my daily driver that was parked outside.
If they are still making the R/T Hemi, that is a nice middle ground between the SRT and the ST (6cyl). I had one for a couple years and loved it. Plenty of horsepower and plenty of room for your buddies. Multi-displacement in the HEMI 350 so I got around 25 MPG highway.
A had a similar gaff with a plastic shopping bag on my chrome exhaust. I use bug an tar remover to get most of it off. The next time I took it in for service, the guy at the shop polished the rest off with chrome polish and a buffer. You could still see it, but only if you looked close.
I agree that you look more professional if you have your own water and power. That said, as long as we discussed it ahead of time, I would be happy to let a Detailer use my water and electric. Just so long as you didn't want to use my tools and wax.
It is amazing how quickly you can connect when you get all the electronic gadgets put away. To people working together can't help but strike up a conversation. Good on you for keeping a good relationship with your daughter despite living apart. My mom and dad divorced before I can remember, but...
Fred looks like he was a good friend and it looks like you gave him a good home. It is a shame we get such a small time with our four legged companions. Sorry for your loss.
I take my pick up truck through the brushless during winter months to keep the salt rinsed off. My wife has been driving her explorer through a "soft brush" car wash, building up swirls for me to fix this summer.
Thanks for the feedback all. I only work on my F150 and my wife's Explorer, but it would be nice to have something to help reach the roof of the exploder and the top of my truck cap. I'll have to look and see if I can find some of these on sale.
