Can I Use a Spray Wax to Dry?

Excuse my ignorance, but why is a drying aid needed? Adding more moisture to help dry?

You can use detailers or spray waxes while drying to add lubricity in the drying process as well as add some gloss and protection.

D156 or DG Auquawax are excellent. However the one that surpasses anything I've ever used is AMMO Hydrate which is a drying product in class by itself. Lays down a beautiful layer of glossy protection as well.

Unlike watery, runny spray products, It's very thick almost like a polish but its chemically designed for one purpose...to make a damp MF towel into a super water magnet and lubricate and condition the paint. One spritz on a damp MF towel goes a long way.

Yeah that's the main reason I like to dry with QD's and SW's to add lubricity and minimize scratching

IMO, not really a "drying aid"
it dries and lays down a coat of wax at the same time...

This as well as help prevent inducing swirls while drying, no? I look at it as weekly touch touch to my paint protection without adding extra time to the weekly wash.

yes that's the best way to make it less likely to scratch when paint is well lubricated.

IMO you can dry the car a ton of ways (correct/incorrect)

But using a Spray Wax as a Drying Aid just adds more lubricity and at the same time adds a thin layer of protection and I notice some extra shine.
