First, not wet but damp sanding. your only misting the work area not flooding it. Second, The PC is not rated for use with water, use caution. Third, backing plate, foam cushing pad, 3M & Megs sell both.

I have a Dark Toreador Red Ford with fine metal flake. I've used DoDo Juice Rainforest Rub, Orange Crush and Purple Haze with excellent results. Applied with my fingers very thinly in two coats. It's my go to wax when I'm out and about on the town.

With DoDo i only use 3 fingers and you will be amazed how much control you have with the wax.
