Just wanted to find out whats a good product for dressing wheel wells. Not looking for anything greasy just something to give that black look especially for the truch and SUV's where this area is very visible. Thanks for the ideas in advance

Clean (or DLux for plastic) is the new wheel well dressing. Anything else will attract dirt - making them nasty for next time.

What I can recommend is coating any areas that are steel with that truck bed coating stuff (not undercoating). I did that, and it dries hard. You can scrub it clean, and your brush doesn't turn black like you dipped it in an old crank case.

Armor All works well for this, its cheap and turns the wheelwells black. Might not last that long but hey, its cheap, LOL!

I've used Griot's undercarriage spray before, now THAT stuff is awesome...but pricey, even a gallon is about $40 IIRC. Get what you pay for there though.

anyone happen to try Meguiar's D4510 Plastic & Vinyl Coating spray can?

I have bare bones but I find the smell to strong. Kind of a messy application if you spray it on, and if you use a MF towel, plan on that one being thrown away.

Carpro Dlux is a good choice though if you want to renew your wheel well dressing every time you dress your tires then go for the water based chemical guys silk shine

I currently use CG Bare Bones, just bought a trial bottle and am not too impressed with it. Looks great for 24 hrs, after that I'm not satisfied. Will be using Meg HyperDressing next time.

Meguiars Tire Foam looks outstanding and is also spray on and walk away. It'll even itself out.

Just tried Chemical Guys Black On Black which is a spray on. Looks good, waiting to see the durablity factor of the product.

I use Meg's All-Season Dressing to clean the wheel wells, then when I'm done, it's also coated.

This is Hyper dressing (not diluted)

Another good product is megs #40

Did you spray and leave it or do you have to wipe a little when using on tires

Is the hyper dressing going to help keep your wheel wells from getting so nasty? Or at least make them easier to clean?

If that is what you're looking for, then I would suggest either DLux or some type of plastic sealant/coating. These will maintain the shine and make them a lot easier to clean in the future.

I spray the wheel wells down and then I saturate a soft long handle brush in the hyper dressing then after a few min I rub the brush all over the wheel well.
