    Wax better than Fuzion?

I just ran out of Fuzion this past month (bought it about 3 years ago). I am looking to replace it but was wondering if there are any other waxes out there that perform better or are easier to apply that I should be looking at? I like Souveran and still have some of that but it doesn't last as...

Best odor eliminator in bulk. Seems Meguiars stopped making theirs

I used to buy the Meguiars odor eliminator by the gallon. It worked decently but was nothing special other than the price. Is there anything similar to buy in bulk that works at removing smoke smell or any other bad smells in the vehicle? I have an ozone machine but would like to use it...

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

Yes! The collinite was put into an autogeek squeeze bottle. The dp was as well. I have checked my full size bottle of dp since I never use it, but will have to. I guess I am going to have to be mobile with a different size bottle in my bins (collinite). Hope everything fits :)

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

My DP sealant is fully separated and unable to go back to form after about 2 years. Collinite 845 dried up on me after a year. :( I'd hate to spend $100 on something to have $75 worth of it dry up or separate fully!!

Anyone use tire dressing for rubber trim?

Just make sure that if you use any sort of silicone product you buff the sirface down afterward! I used some Blackfire tire gel (the silicone one) on a customers Dodge Ram. I came back 3 days later to do another car and it had rained in between. THe tire shine was all over the sides of the...

What is the most sudsy wash soap on the market right now?

I too use Optimum Car Wash. I originally used Duragloss based on the recommendations from here and then switched to OCW and never looked back. i have used many CG car washes, Pinnacle, and a few others, but never found them to have the same suds or slickness of OCW

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

Yeah, wish I needed the bulk stuff, but I primarily do production detailing and use d151. My last bottle of bfwd lasted almost a whole season since it is easy to apply thin with a PC. After I ran out of it, I pulled out my old bottle of poli coat but it had separated so badly that even a few...

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

Hahah!! Though I wasn't super impressed with it when I tried it. It was years ago and I was comparing it to 4* and Poli Coat (the only other sealants I had at the time). I have written it off since then. I think i'll have to put another sample in my cart on my next order and re-evaluate it. :)

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

I think i am looking at either 4*UPP or DG105. I know the ease of use is there with 4*, but what about DG105? Is it as simple as applying it to the whole car, letting it cure, and then wiping off with one pass like BFWD? If so, the cleaning will really help in making the cars looks better...

Cheaper alternative to Blackfire Wet Diamond?

I have been using Blackfire Wet Diamond on my customer cars for details and wash/waxes. I love how easy it is to apply and remove and the slick feeling it leaves behind, as well as the protection. I am looking for something that may be a little cheaper and give me the same attributes. I have...

    All-in-One polish??

I too use d151 as it can remove a decent number of defect, I would say about the same as m205 or better. It does not have crazy protection abilities though. Realistically about 2 months with good wash techniques. If you only polish your car once a year, you can get by with just using d151. I...

How much to charge if any?

Depends on how good of friends they are. For my really good friends, I have done their cars for free, but they always give me money anyway. I have typically done 2 step polishes, full interior detail, full engine details for them without expecting anything I return. I have also used their cars...

    Which pad for an AIO?

Also, keep in mind that you can correct anything with an AIO and a single pad, but the number of passes needed to do so may just be too time consuming. When I do a production one step detail, I explain to the customer that typically it will remove up to 75% of the light defects in the paint and...

    Which pad for an AIO?

It depends on what you are starting with. On my own car, I am able to get away with an AIO and get a nearly flawless finish because of the condition it is in. On some of the thrashed customer cars, the AIO will basically remove the fine scratches and the dullness to the paint. It will not...

A washing trick that doesn't seem to get mentioned

This isn't new. Doesn't autogeek sell those resin filters for the garage? I forget the name but you are supposed to be able to rinse the car and not have to worry about drying it, which does make sense. Ever notice when it REALLY rains, you usually don't have water spots on your car afterward...
