I really like Jescar Power Lock. I apply over the entire vehicle by DA, wait 1/2hr to 1hr, and wipe off with ease. Finish is glossy and sheets water great.

It's probably etched as mentioned. I have the same thing except on my black car. Soft paint yet they have not come out with wetsand/compound. Without removing too many mils anyway. I purchased used, car was from Florida, and I can only assume it was near sprinklers or it rained on a very hot day...

Absolutely clay and polish prior to coating. You'll love the protection from Cquartz. Coated my buddy's pure white '16 Tacoma, you could visually see it become a shade brighter and the glassy finish is absolutely visible on the white.
