This thing was in terrible condition, I don't think it was ever properly washed or protected. Anyway here some of what I have done so far I'll be finishing it off tomorrow but I just had to share this lol...

wow, can't wait to see the finished product! :dblthumb2:

This is just ridiculous. Definitely can't wait to see the final product! Wicked.

The guy is lucky that it's not completely through this Clear coat.

The paint looks awful in before pics. Its a shame people don't take better care of their vehicles. Excellent job bringing paint back to life.

Yea it's a shame turns out it was his dads car who passed away and it sat outside for long time doing nothing, still no reason for the neglect because as shown in the before photos it must have been sitting for years doing nothing. There where a few spots I measured with a ptg that where do thin to do anything with but others then that it looks great but like I told him if it's not maintained every 2-3 months at least then it will happen again and this time it will go completely thro the Clear coat. He says he will bring it in every 2 months for an express detail, we will see... lol

Wow, incredible transformation. Glad it had enough clear left!

Is it just me or is anyone else having a hard time seeing any difference between the the before and after?

Just kidding, that looks like the paint was left for dead. Amazing job on saving that Buick. Very nice work and photos!

You don't think that car was "properly washed or protected". I'm pretty sure that car hasn't been washed since it left the dealer's lot in 2007!

The before pics don't get much better than that without becoming examples of clear coat failure. Nice work!

At first I didn't even wanna take the job because burning through was such an issue but the owner said go for it if something happens then oh well, can't be worst then what it is now lol
