    m105 substitute plus pad

I only work on my own and family cars and I really like - Meguiars Ultimate Compound. I recently used it on a family's members Chevy sedan and it worked well at removing rubbed on paint. I was also amazed at how much better (imo) the Chevy clearcoat was as compared to my two Honda's. :iagree:

    New Product - Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0

Question for the Optimum Guys - I have a car that is getting a bumper replaced (fresh paint and clear). How long would you recommend waiting prior to applying Opti-Coat new paint? I'm considering ordering Opti-Coat and I currently have Opti-Seal (along with other optimum stuff). Tkx...

    Advanced Auto-spotted

I pickup oil/filter supplies at AA often. The Megs GC wash is currently on sale and the Griot's Speed Shine is good (although I've now replaced that by ONR and DP rinseless) That said I've order more detailing stuff from AG because I'd rather get a better performing product...and some advise...

    Best Car Wash?

Happend to pickup some Duragloss 901 this weekend at what appeared to be one of the oldest auto part supply stores I've been in. I didn't get a chance to use it due to the fresh snow but this has to be the best smelling car care product :xyxthumbs::dblthumb2::xyxthumbs:

    845 and lght drizzly?

I agree to just apply another coat. I'm concerned that the 845 will not wear off and I'll have to use paint cleaner to remove it and apply the fancy AG stuff I picked up. May have to use 845 year round. :iagree:

    Interior Dressings

I've used and really like the Megs 40. Makes the plastic look good. Meguiars #40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner/Conditioner protects rubber, plastic & vinyl interior surfaces. Meguiars # 40 Vinyl & Rubber Cleaner and

    Nice looking floormats

Hopefully that was nice soft beach sand and not the frozen variety as we're getting in New England right now! But seriously I've been looking at these mats and I'm wondering if replacing the very thin OEM Honda mats with these would increase or decrease the interior noise?

    Microfiber towels?

I've found the Costco micorfiber towels to be a good replacement for paper towels. I no longer use them on the car's painted surface but they're ok for windows, inside dash, wheels etc. The inexpensive Meg's microfiber is much better than the generic costco towels. I think the better quality...

I wanted to thank everyone for the recommendations. I was planning to try some of the Four Star products. AG - Note that the Four Star Kit is currently out of stock! Thanks again

Suggest a Wax/Sealer for new Honda - Beige metallic

I've used Megs Gold Class Wax on my dark-red car with good success. After applying the same wax to my new Honda Accord which has Biege-metalic paint the color turned notably darker and the color appears to have shifted to the green spectrum. I must say that we liked the paint color better...
