Hi All,

I am looking for an excellent car wash for my cars. I used to use Mercedes Benz branded car wash and it was good, not great. I have the following list to choose from so far, any recommendations from the experts?

-P21S Total Auto Wash.

-SONAX Gloss Shampoo Concentrate.

-Poorboy's World Super Slick & Suds Concentrated Car Wash 32 oz.

-Griot's Garage Car Wash 16 oz.

-Dodo Juice Supernatural Shampoo 250 ml.

-Wolfgang Auto Bathe.

-Optimum Car Wash 32 oz.

Appreciate your help and feedback.

I haven't found one that I really like...

j/k - Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate.

I use one that not many people like. It's called duragloss!

Mark another one for duragloss ... When I'm not using a rinseless wash which is most of the time.

Looks like I'm the odd one here.....I never tried the duragloss....but the Dodo and Wolfgang are two of my favorites out of your list!

Duragloss

btw duragloss wins! go buy some and enjoy. smells like a cherry jollyranger lol havent tasted it yet though...

Happend to pickup some Duragloss 901 this weekend at what appeared to be one of the oldest auto part supply stores I've been in. I didn't get a chance to use it due to the fresh snow but this has to be the best smelling car care product :xyxthumbs::dblthumb2::xyxthumbs:

Looks like Duragloos is a favorite amongst most everyone. What other washes does it compare to in terms of lubricity and sudding? I have been using Optimum for a while, and have tried just about everything else out there

I rate optimum, duragloss, and poorboys to all be pretty much the same in terms on cleaning ability, dilution, lubricity, suds and overall finish. If you have one I see no point in getting the others unless you like working with different scents. Cherries (duragloss), blueberries (optimum) or green apple/smarties(poorboys).

How would you DG guys compare this to Megs Gold Class. It's the one OTC product I was still gonna use - it's fairly inexpensive at Wally World and it does do a very nice job. Will DG do that much better? Should I consider switching when the jug's gone?

Honestly, I used Meg's Gold Class for years before I started searching for a replacement. I recently bought it because I had forgotten what it was like, and honestly I didn't feel the lubricity was there like Duragloss. Most likely the 3 48oz bottles will be given away.
