1938 Bentley 4-1/4 liter Derby museum prep

I’m not sure. It looks like it would be. I had the owner place it where it was going to be worked on, and it wasn’t moved until it was finished. He showed me how to start it, but I chose to do a waterless wash, so I wouldn’t have to.

1938 Bentley 4-1/4 liter Derby museum prep

Thanks Scott. This was a long one. There were even leather covers on the leaf springs that had to be cleaned and conditioned. I will drop some 50/50, and work in progress shots in the thread later. I will be spending most of August prepping cars for the LeMay automotive museum Master Collector...

1938 Bentley 4-1/4 liter Derby museum prep

Had the privilege of working on this 1938 Bentley 4.25 liter Derby. This was a very extensive job, as the car is set to be on display at the LeMay automotive museum in Tacoma, Washington next month. Over 60 hours were spent on multi step paint correction and hand wax on the single stage lacquer...

Gorgeous BMW E46 in Imola Red; Truely Stunning

Great work on a beautiful car! I’m a sucker for the e46. Wife and I both drive 330i bimmers. Hers is a loaded 03, and mines an 05 alpine white ZHP. One of the best cars BMW ever made, IMO.

    Bmw e92 m3

Nice Bimmers! I’m partial to the e46, and earlier cars, but the newer ones are awesome as well.

    1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2

Good guess! It was somewhere between 25 and 30 hours on the wheels. There was a matching spare in the trunk too. It was tedious, but well worth the time.

Here are a few pics of work in progress. The first picture was how I rewarded myself after the job was done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2

Thanks Mike! It was truly an honor to work on this car. A bit nerve racking, but a privilege as well. I will post some pics later of the previous condition of the wheels, leather, and the pile of parts I removed to get access to everything I could. It has taken time to make the necessary...

    1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2

Thank you! This was a tricky one. It was repainted in the past, and it was not documented. I got Paint thickness readings that varied from less than 10 mils, to over 50. There were also areas of very dry spray, and burn through on some edges from someone buffing it before my client acquired it...

    1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2

1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 This amazing Ferrari 330GT came in for some work. Performed a thorough hand wash, clayed paint, did a conservative paint correction (no compound, due to the condition of the paint), and applied two coats of Fuzion wax. Owner was hoping for ceramic coating, but we...

    Flex 3401 stopped working

Yes, it had the crimped ends like the factory cord. I ordered mine from the flex parts supplier mentioned earlier in this thread. It was about $60 shipped. The next day, my local P&S supplier came through to deliver some supplies. He carries a 15 foot cord identical (same markings even)to the...

    Flex 3401 stopped working

Just had this exact problem with one of my 3401 polishers. Cut off a foot of cord, reattached, worked great! Went ahead and ordered a 25 foot replacement instead of the stock 15 foot. Much better!

How to Under Promise and Over Deliver with BLACKFIRE One Step - Your One Step Detailing Package

Hey Mike. I’ve nearly used up the bottle of BF one step you sent me to try. Thank you! As a long time HD speed user, I was a little hesitant to try something new. I was pleasantly surprised by this stuff. I use P&S orange pads on my flex 3401 polishers for one step jobs. Good cut, and finish...
