    Dilutable Interior Cleaner

The truth is I could probably get away with this in most cases. (y)

    Dilutable Interior Cleaner

That looks solid. I know that lather alone doesn't equal cleaning but it is helpful when you're trying to get a cleaner to stay on a surface and not drip away somewhere.

    Dilutable Interior Cleaner

Good to know when I finish my gallon of Poorboy's APC. Poorboy's feels a little strong for the interior. I don't see sodium hydroxide in D101 which already makes me think it'll be better. I finish the interior by wiping the inside glass with glass cleaner anyways so a quick pass on the nav...

    Dilutable Interior Cleaner

This does seem like what I’m looking for, especially since it can be diluted pretty heavily. Bonus that it can be used on fabric.

    Dilutable Interior Cleaner

It doesn’t seem unreasonable to me to have a basic interior cleaner on hand. Rinseless is perfectly fine with a microfiber (I have Wolfgang Uber) but doesn’t agitate well with a brush. APC might be overkill as my interiors stay pretty clean. But I imagine a diluted non-caustic APC isn’t all that...

    Dilutable Interior Cleaner

I'm looking for a dilutable interior cleaner to use for regular light cleaning. 3D LVP cleaner is my front runner but I can't figure out what the correct dilution ratio is supposed to be. I see 1:1, 4:1, 10:1. I also read that the small bottle is RTU but the gallon is supposed to be diluted? I'm...

    NEW 3D GLW series

This just feels like the new private equity owners are doing a sales and marketing play. It feels cheap and backwards to me. SiO2 Ceramic Interior Detailer? What? Too buzz-wordy for me. When Mike was there it seemed like slow, thoughtful innovation of products where there was a need. 3D wasn't...

Do you still use a sealant?

Yep. Some vehicles get an annual AIO (3D Speed or Blackfire AIO) and those get nothing more than an easy-to-use spray sealant every few washes. Reason being I'm working in less than ideal polishing conditions (usually outdoors, sometime a garage with less than perfect lighting) so the paint...

Best foam gun setup ?? (Not cannon )

I'm a power washer guy. I can set up my power washer as fast as it'd take to pull out a hose. Quick disconnects and a higher quality hose make all the difference. However you cannot to the foam gun + wash mitt technique (wash mitt in one hand foam gun in the other blasting foam as you wipe)...

Can a drying towel be too large

I prefer a handful of smaller towels over a large one. Easier to maneuver, wash & inspect. I don't mind grabbing another after one gets saturated. Still love using my PFM's, would like to get into forced air someday - always land up with water spots on rims because of the hard water.

If you could only choose one complete “system”?

Gonna go against the grain and say 3D; they're my benchmark brand that I always fall back to when I get tired of trying new things. I've had a good experience with all of their products sans a stinky bottle of Super Soap that still performed fine, but scent was off. I haven't tried their...

    Rinseless wash sponges

The thing that got me is your first swipe across a panel is the most abrasive swipe whether you're using a towel or a sponge. Think about it, if you make 2-3 passes over a dirty panel you're moving the same amount of dirt across that panel whether you use a towel or a sponge. A pre-soak helps...

    SEMA 2022/2023 New Products

I'm a big fan of 3D but I really feel like they didn't need to jump on the graphene train. Cheapens the brand imo.

    Rinseless wash method?

Sounds crazy but I’ve done this too. Wash wheels/wells like normal, pressure rinse, and pull into the garage for a rinseless. Helps avoid hard water spots during crazy summer heat. I don’t pre-treat after the pressure rinse I just go straight to washing.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Quick disconnects and a swivel (at least on the gun) are essential upgrades in my opinion!
