I loved using this stuff as my final. I guess it's no longer available. Was there a replacement ? If not, what have you guys that have been big fans of the stuff using now?
Thanks,
Don
I understand. My reply was based on Duragloss product line and talking with their lead person in the research lab (Jerry). I have to assume he's more up on that product than us... but again, this was in regards to the Duragloss line, no others. I am going to take him at his word and do the whole...
It kind of depends on your products too. I spoke with Jerry in the Duragloss lab and he suggests NOT topping their 501 or 105 sealants/poishes with carnuba. He said that the base oils in many of the carnubas can actually compromise the polys in his product and detract from it's longevity. If you...

I ordered the AW too, but I assumed that was more like a quick detailer to keep the polish up. Are you suggesting that after finishing up with the 105 that I use the AW instead of the Souveran?

My interior color is light tan. On the passenger side, it appears the previous owner got the upper shoulder belt portion of the seatbelt shut in the door several times, leaving grease smudges all over the belt where it was closed in the jam/latch area. I've tried simple green, other misc...
So you'd wash the whole rig first, then say, swipe the hood with the wash mit/soap and clay bar that area, rinse, move to the next area, etc? That's OK to do? Not a problem using the water solution as the lube for the bar?
Thanks for the input!!!!
Posted earlier on detailing the '95 Cherokee that has some moderate scratches and lots of swirl marks. I've spent tons of time on here researching my plan of attack and wanted to run it by you folks before I purchase. My thoughts were:
1). Wash/Dry
2). Clay bar
3). XMT #3 with Lake Country...
Working on a '95 Cherokee that has alot of swirl marks as well as some pretty good scratches on the upper surfaces. Scratches look like they may have been caused by some bad washing habits (gravel in mit maybe?). Anyway, I am looking into a Porter Cable buffer and was wondering what you folks in...
