    Interior Windshield Cleaning

I have tried over 2 million different Window and windscreen cleaning solutions and I don't exaggerate. My current solution is Adams Brilliant Glaze. There is a youtube video on this, and it is the only way I have found to avoid smudges and haziness. Once this is polished off, any cleaner...

Yes, definitely slicker than Opti Coat and Opti Gloss Coat, it hasn't attracted much dust, so probably is anti-static.

I had another look and the 50ml bottle is probably about 1/4 gone - so 12.5ml. I did a complete coverage of the paint - no Glass or anything. There is not much paint work to be honest. I could see it go on quite well and it all hazed over nicely, so am reasonably confident I got complete...

    Car Pro

I applied Gliss 3 days ago to my little Black Golf. It had Opti Gloss Coat applied about a year ago but the car lives outside 24/7 and is not that well looked after. I did a wash with strong detergent and then used Paint Prep (same as eraser) . I then had to use some paint cleaner for some of...

    Car Pro

I bought some Gliss and will put on my 4 cars this weekend ( if it spreads that far). I also bought some WG 3.0 sealant so not sure which product on what car. All cars bit different; -5 year old Opticoat 2.0 topped with FK1000p . -1 year old Opti Gloss Coat over Opticoat 2.0 -1 year Opti Gloss...

    For those that have coatings

Oh and FK425 (the pink stuff) as a drying aid after each wash.

    For those that have coatings

I think i have a problem. I topped my Opticoat 2.0 with Optigloss. I then use Adams brilliant glaze and then FK1000p over the top of all of this. I am sure it is a waste, but i cant control myself. It is on an Obsidian Black Mercedes and always looks good. Digger

Opticoat 2.0 and Gloss Coat Drops per ml

Definitely 10ml is adequate for even a large car. From my use as just one date point, 5ml for a small car, 7ml for mid size and 9 for a large. It spreads really thin, so if you put too much on you get high spots that need to be wiped off anyway.

    303 Automotive Protectorant Review

I use in on tires as well, I dont like high gloss and I think 303 makes the tires look more like a new tire than a shined up glossy one. It lasts between car washes so is good enough for me.

Opticoat 2.0 and Gloss Coat Drops per ml

Thanks Kev, Pretty much what my plan is for the last 10ml of Opticoat 2.0 I have saved up for my Porsche Macan when it arrives later in the year. I can't afford to complete say 3/4 of the car and then run out as 2.0 is getting very hard to find. So I am going to measure out 1ml at a time, put...

Opticoat 2.0 and Gloss Coat Drops per ml

More good news, the high spots near the door handles were just hand smudges from touching the paint when opening the door. So i wiped them off and all good

Opticoat 2.0 and Gloss Coat Drops per ml

Hi again, follow up is that today i put 7.5ml of Opti gloss coat in a little spray bottle, and this time used an applicator wrapped in a rubber glove wirh a Blue Chux on the outside. So much easier !!!! Loaded up applicator with one spray and then one spray per small panel, and 2 or 3 for the...

Opticoat 2.0 and Gloss Coat Drops per ml

For professionals and regular users i agree that counting drops is a waste. But for very rank amateurs like me, it would give a good guideline to thickness applied as you go along.. Gloss coat is $100 for 10ml in Australia so dont want to waste any by slopping it on. Anyway, i am going to...
