I really feel the Essence with the Gloss pad (only step) should do the trick. Here's a quote from the product site: Semi-permanent filling capabilities Adds layer of Sio2 Quartz protection

Yes, I used the MF cutting pad to help remove the existing 22PLE coating that was 1.5 years old. I was using a Flex 3401 at speeds between 4 and 6. I use an air compressor to blow out the old polish and clear coat from the MF pad ever two panels.

The 991 GT3RS I did today was covered in calcium deposits from hose water the dealership sprays onto the car and left it in the sun to dry. I tried Essence with a MF cutting pad and a MF Xtra cut disc without removing enough of the etchings. I switched to Megs D300 with Surbuf RS series pad...

So I finished my Turbo today with CQuartz and picked up my buddy's 991 GT3RS from Porsche (35 miles on it) and headed home to detail it for him. The dealership kindly hosed it down with water filled with calcium and left it in the sun to AIR DRY!!! It took a friend of mine and me 5 hours to...

Let me start by saying I'm not a professional detailer (I'm a physician). This is a hobby of mine. I routinely detail my cars (the turbo is mine) and my buddy's cars (I'll be doing his 991 GT3RS today with Essence after I pick it up from Porsche. I've used most of the Menzerna and Meguiar...

I used a Flex XC 3401 VRG with a Meguiar's DA Microfiber Cutting Disc Buffing Pad prior to switching to a CarPro Gloss Pad.

This is a short review of CarPro's Essence: Extreme Gloss. First let me say dealing with Cory Carruth at [email protected] has been a great experience! The car I worked on is a 2011 Porsche Turbo in Platinum Silver. The paint was in very good condition and had 22PLE applied 18 months ago...

    Speed Yellow Turbo

I looked at the car much closer last evening and your right the orange pad caused quite a bit hazing on many areas of the car - good call. I'll need to strip the wax and sealant and I'll use some Sonix Final Finish. I'll never use BL on anything other than a black pad!:dblthumb2:

    Speed Yellow Turbo

The paint was very clear without haze. I typically never use BL on anything other than a black pad. I really don't know why I reached for the orange pad today. I did enjoy the Esoteric wax. This was the first time I've used it and will always keep it available with my other waxes.

    Speed Yellow Turbo

This is what I bought: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Champion-...0#.UdCs0xbvNsg I have a 2 car garage and it cooled it down some, but it was still really hot outside. I guess the max you can get is 20 degrees cooler with one off these vs any temp with an AC. I didn't get the AC because of the...

    Speed Yellow Turbo

Just got done cleaning the turbo with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash followed by Chemical Guys Black Light Hybrid Radiant Finish on an orange pad with a PC then topped with Todd Cooperider's Esoteric Signature Series Wax. It's 115 today and I'm happy I bought an evaporative cooler for the garage...
