Outstanding! Haven't seen any bad reviews of the stuff. Need to pick some up.

Let me start by saying I'm not a professional detailer (I'm a physician). This is a hobby of mine. I routinely detail my cars (the turbo is mine) and my buddy's cars (I'll be doing his 991 GT3RS today with Essence after I pick it up from Porsche.
I've used most of the Menzerna and Meguiar polishing products. As far as application and removal I feel Essence is head-and-shoulders above (little to no dust). I was able to correct some minor defects with a cutting MF pad and immediately switch over to a finishing pad using the same product: I finished my car in 1.5 hours (this usual would take me 3-4 hours). The time I spent and the quality it produced has sold me on this product.
I added up the products I currently own for detailing and it came to $2300. The polishes and sealants I own were $500 of the $2300. While Essence will not replace Megs 105 for cutting it will replace most all the other polishes I own.
I do not know how Essence will cut with a wool or Surbuf pad. If these combos work well we may need only 1 or 2 polishes in our arsenal.
I really hope this helps. Again, please know that I don't detail for a living and my information is based on my intermediate skill level, not a professional level. Some input form the professionals on Essence would be the best source.
Thanks, and which CQuartz did you use?
Thank you for the detailed reply. I'll have to try the method you mentioned where you started with the microfiber cutting pad and finished with a finishing pad. The results you obtained were great, and it sounds like a time saver.
I didn't know if you were a professional detailer or not, hence why I asked the money question. I hope I didn't come off the wrong way in how I asked it. I was wondering if it could cut and finish well enough to possibly replace some of the heavier polishes while being cost effective; be it time, performance or user friendliness.
Nice rides.
A question to educate myself. You said the paint of the Turbo was recently coated and in good condition. Why did you use a microfiber pad and then a finishing pad -- Was the mf pad to get rid of the 22PLE; speed of action??? I have a few mf pads, but I haven't thought to use them on paint in good condition (as opposed to foam pads).
Yes, I used the MF cutting pad to help remove the existing 22PLE coating that was 1.5 years old. I was using a Flex 3401 at speeds between 4 and 6. I use an air compressor to blow out the old polish and clear coat from the MF pad ever two panels.
Thanks for all this info and write up.
On a daily driver with minimal marring since the last correction 6 months ago, do you think Essence with a gloss pad will be sufficient? Or do you think a 2 step method with the MF pads first then again with the gloss pad is needed? Thanks.
Great job on a beautiful Porsche
I have to agree with you, Corey has always answered my emails.
