Digging up fossils.
I have been detailing for a while now on my personal vehicles, I love the Megs Ultimate wheel cleaner but dang it's expensive.
I bought the D143 but it says it safe on clear coated wheels but NOT safe for clear coated calipers, this doesn't make sense to me.
Anyone?
"Rehazing" is generally because you put it on too thick and didn't flip the towel you wipe it off with enough. It does this to me with some microfibers, but almost never does when I am wiping it off with an old worn out bath towel.
Also more prone to do it if your microfibers have been left out...
I did use the Purple power citrus, it did a good job but did discolor the radiator plastics a little.

I have a C5 Z06 that I do track days with, it has an issue with filling catch cans with oil and then it makes a mess under the hood.
I used Purple Power Citrus cleaner on the back of the car where it was nasty with oil and it came right off and didn't harm the paint. Is this a good choice to...
Priming the pad correctly out of the gate solved this for me. After every 2x2 I use 4 small dots of product and keep on truckin'.
If it is really hot out I will spray the pad with some water here and there to stop it.
It's not because it was for a "dealership" it was because he was getting paid warranty time instead of customer pay time most likely.
The manufacturers keep cutting warranty time.
When I need help on the car, he is Johnny on the spot. We trackday/HPDE these cars. If you look in the first set of pics the pewter car with chrome wheels and burgundy Grand Sport stripes is my car.
No problemo (In my best Terminator voice).
I cant wait to touch it up and get some wax on it.
He tinted the windows with 20% ceramic tint.....it looks really good.
I am done with it for now, when it outgasses I will touch it up and wax it.
