    Lotions on interior plastics

I thought I remembered seeing an article by Mike Phillips about dealing with suntan lotion / lotions on interiors. Does this exist or am I just see things? Thanks....Mike

All in one interior cleaner protectant

I'm going to throw in Griot's Interior Detailer. Awesome cleaning, great smell, UV protection and does leave a nice low gloss sheen. Checks all of my boxes!! Mike

    Griots 3-1 Cermaic wax

I was able to get a 22oz bottle from Griots's (I know people, shhhhh..) the other day. Used it on my next customers black Lexus. IT was cold out, 34* and cloudy. Just as directed, a light mist onto a prepped panel (clayed and cleaned with IGL Precoat). Wipe to spread and a buff off a few minutes...

    3” polisher purchase

:buffing:I had a chance to play with a G8 the other day at Griot's. All I can say is AMAZING!!!! Balanced, quiet, little vibration and a whole lot of power for a machine this size. I'll be there to get mine the day they are released. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!! Mike

Need to be IGL cert, but spray it with Eclipse for the ultimate protection. If you are not certified, sub it out. The client will be blown away...

    Coating Cars Outdoors

I agree with this too. I have coated multiple vehicles outdoors. Working on panel at a time, on a calm day with no pollen in the air, and in the shade....I've had no issues and very, VERY happy customers. On cooler days CQUK is amazing, FYI Mike

    Bead Maker on glass....

So I've been using Bead Maker on all the glass on my vehicles to test out hydrophobic properties and durability. Works great as expected for a couple months, .....but then my windshield got really streaky and almost looked like a hazy film on it, so bad I had so clean it with IPA to get it off...

    Black Solution Finish on grey...

I have a customer with a '03 Element with the OEM Honda grey trim and she wants it black. Would Black Solution finish provide enough coverage to make it black for her and still last a decent amount of time (with the proper prep of course)? Thanks! :xyxthumbs: Mike

    2018 Tesla Model S P100D

Looks awesome! While Tesla is a great car, the quality just is not there. This is an 85-S I detailed a few weeks ago after it had some body work done at a Tesla dealer after a slight mishap. 4 months to get a new fender for it. Anything wrong with this pic? If they can get the QC right, the'll...

    I just don't get it????

I just use a combination of my name and my business name. As far as Facebook, I make at least a $1k a month from customers I get from shares, likes and referals all from FB. :xyxthumbs: Mike

I think I ruined my leather seat

The Griot's 3 in 1 is nowhere near aggressive enough to do that unless a wire brush was used. I'm leaning towards the surface being compromised prior to the 3-1 being used.
