    Window cleaning products or technique!!

For someone who just works to keep my own cars looking good I believe over the years I have come up with some pretty good techniques, which have worked well for me. The area that I seem to have the most problems with are the interior glass. They always look good until I start driving in the sun...

    Cold weather ?

I am not a detailer but I have had several products over the years freeze and go bad on me. I do live in a colder area than Va though so maybe that has a bearing. I now store all my products in the basement when winter sets in.:xyxthumbs:

Master Blaster, compressed air or leaf blower?

If you use a compressor remember to use an inline moisture trap and filter as air compressors will accumulate water and oil in the tank. I use an hvlp 4 stage turbine to dry my car but it's an expensive tool that we use at work, but is the same turbine set up as a master blaster. I have used a...

Product storage - inside the house or in the garage?

Being from the Northeast where we have below freezing temps I transfer all my products to the basement in the winter. I have lost so many different products to freezing that I no longer take a chance. Some seem to be freeze thaw stable while others go bad the first time they freeze.I never had...

    Opinions on wet dry vac?

I work in construction in the painting field and I buy 2 shop vacs at a time from Lowes when they go on sale. The last 2 were 10 gallon size in blue like you posted. When 1 dies I always have a backup. They work great and with all the fine plaster and wood dust that we handle daily I have found...

Cleaning the inside of the wheel?

As Bill said above... I only use it on the barrel of the wheel where it is dirty and full of brake dust. I even use a scotch brite pad which is even more abrasive with no problem, at least on a Corvette wheel, which has a painted barrel.:dblthumb2:

    streaky windows, please help

There was a chrome and glass cleaner that I used to buy at the Harley shop with a checkerboard logo on it and damn if I can remember the name, but they do not sell it anymore. That stuff was amazing on glass. I tried it on my wife's water stained windshield and it took the stains out that I...

    streaky windows, please help

I have the same problem on my Corvette, they look perfect until you drive in the sun and then it's streaks galore. I use Invisible glass with 2 clean microfibers and a 3rd for a final polish-wipedown. Do not have the problem on the outside just inside. Car has never been smoked in. I give up...
