I wouldn't even let it get to you. I have to say... nice idea with the sign. :xyxthumbs: I was thinking about doing the same except with a "wet floor" shaped sign. The one that hinges at the top and pulls apart on the bottom.

One thing to keep in mind is using it the way RUPES designed would mean also using RUPES pads and polishes. When they designed it I'm guessing (keep in mind it's only a guess) that they didn't design it with MF pads in mind. It's in this situation that I find the "washer mod" most beneficial...

Needed? No Does it help? IMO yes, more noticeably with MF pads. Speaking from experience with the 15mm version. You've got nothing to lose to try it for yourself and see how it works for you.

What polish/compound were you using with the MF pads? Sorry if I missed it... :)

I don't know about "average", but when a customer tells me their car is "not bad" or "i take really good care of it" it usually ends up a nightmare. On the other hand when they say it's in bad shape it usually is a cream puff. Go figure :)
