Can you Believe this is a Hyundai

The 2013s look BAD with the crap they did to the front (IMHO)... still waiting for more aftermarket FI on the 3.8 (esp SC)...

2013 SRT Viper - Yay or Nay?

Nay - For close to this price I would take a Audi R8 or a base Porsche 911 Turbo (I would add bigger turbos to either of these on purchase).

And so it begins....My first customer

Rusty, It may seem like a matter of focus (low vs high end) but you might want to do some more research... what I mean by that is that there is a high-end market anywhere (esp in MA). It's a matter of finding and attracting that market... (Maybe try talking to Fathers and Sons Porche?) Think...

First machine mini correction! VW 20TH AE

Nice turn around! (That's the good news)... The bad new? You're hooked... you will never look at a car's paint the same way ever again, and you will see swirls and scratches and dirt, and streaks on glass, and brake dust on wheels... and... (you get the idea)... on a DD you will need to...

Need help with polishing white car

A few more thoughts: 1) There is NO WAY the DA should be melting your pads. You have a DEFECTIVE unit and need to send it back to wherever you bought in from for a replacement! 2) Pad drying/cleaning - you can use very little moisture by using a cleaning brush on the pad as it spins, this...

Need help with polishing white car

A few thoughts: 1) Look for smaller pads for your polisher.. if not available, considering getting a smaller back plate for a drill and like 4 inch pads, with a caveat that this will act liek a rotary and you will need to be VERY careful.. practice on a car you don't care about or a practice...

Need help with polishing white car

Should be about 9-14 lbs, enough to depress the foam somewhat, but not stop the DA from rotating (if you can, mark your backing plate with a black marker, or white paint or whatever will show you it's spinning) If not, that might be why you aren't seeing the product work as expected. Also make...

Need help with polishing white car

A few questions? 1) About how much pressure are you putting on the polisher? Describe as best you can. 2) Is the product "flashing"? This means it turns almost transparent and means you have worked the product to it's max potential. 3) How many passes (polish than wipedown) did you do on the...
