what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

I wonder if some of these guys are making more bank from their videos then actually selling their product(s)?

what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

I started watching the video but then got sidetracked. I work for a company that recently got bought by a priveate investment firm Roark Capital. Roark owns mulitple franchises like Baskin-Robbins, Arby's, Jamba, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’ ... you get the idea. I don't necessarily care whether...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Interesting thought. I have hard water and have not seen any staining on either my BRS or USS sponges when using ONR. I usually just shoot some APC or Dawn on them after use, agitate, rinse and let air dry. I have had staining on mirocfiber mitts and ONR, they come out "clean" after...

Negative effects of spreading dumb disinformation…

I included them as an example of another company pushing hard in an already crowded market. I only became aware of them when TRC started promoting their products, which I think was around a year ago. BTW, my inclusion was not meant as a knock on their quality.

Negative effects of spreading dumb disinformation…

Me too. I think the market is over saturated as it is, with influencer brands canalizing each other along with existing brands. In the last 12 months or so, we seen arrive on the scene, ADS, Jimbo's, Pay the Advertiser brands (I'm missing a couple others but can't think of them), along with...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Interesting, I went the other way. After the diy regroutting my kitchen, I was skeptical of grout sponges on auto paint, so I went to the “dreadlock” microfiber mitts for my RWs. What drove me a little crazy, was I would do a pass or two with the mitt, dunk it in the bucket, rub it over the grit...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Yeah, I’m using WW&S as a drying aid, as a break from what I normally use and not as a true LSP. It provides some added cleaning/protection in case I missed something and provides excellent gloss at the end. The fact that it has some UV inhibitors or protection and comes from a company that...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

Over the weekend, I used Hyper Foam ONR for the first time, in a traditional bucket wash. I used a non-foaming IK sprayer to spray down the car and a BRS in about 4 gallons of solution. With the spray down, I noticed the solution was maybe a little more runny than regular ONR but not a big deal...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

On in an alternative time line, AG members have formed our own detailing chemical company along with microfibers. Our logo is the prodigious digit, signifying “We’re Number 1” in auto detailing. Especially in our year end reviews. Among our products is a line of 5 (or more) RWs with uses...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I just bought a 32oz bottle and plan to use it as a regular RW. Good to hear about the cleaning ability.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

There are definitely machines for that. Over the last few months, I've purchased about 5 different TRC towels either directly or through Amazon. All were identically and perfectly packaged and that's why I suspect machines, but who knows really.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

3D Detailing has a retail store a few miles away from me. Pre-COVID, they had their microfiber towels were laid out by type on tables. More recently, they have them more condensed and stacked on shelving, no packaging, to make more room for product. I don't know what TRC's numbers are, but I'd...
