    BMW M6 Protest

How many times did the guy with the axe almost take it in the face? That thing was bouncing off like it was nothing. I'm glad this didn't end as badly as it could have.

    Going door to door?

Just one consumer's opinion here but I hate solicitors. The only ones I can tolerate are school age kids doing some kind of fund raiser. The age where mom or dad is standing right out on the street. Anyway. I say no to any solicitation. I could even be in the market for whatever the product...

Town & Country Gets Some Love...

Would you mind going into some detail on how you got the tires so clean? I have a set that look to be in very similar condition and can't seem to get them clean. I'm also using 505. I've tried it 1:1 and did a quarter of one tire at full strength but can't tell any difference between it and...

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

You would? I would think the baffle wouldn't work without the fins at the bottom. If they were off the bottom then when you forced water down it would push water down underneath the grit guard and back up, along with whatever debris is on the bottom. Having the grit guard all the way at the...

Having a hard time deciding on what to go with

I understand where you're coming from. Maybe start by stating your goals and that would help get you some recommendations.

    Giveaway! Wolf's Chemicals

I'd love to try the glass sealant. We have a full length panoramic glass moon roof on our Tiguan that I'm looking for a good product to help with the water spots that collect up there.

    How to remove these spots?

Just an update in case anyone runs across this thread and finds it useful. I found that some of them could be removed with just plain old clay bar and detail spray. But about 1/2 of them either weren't phased or were so slow going that I couldn't really tell the clay bar was working at all...

    Rubber Gloves

Yeah I hate gloves for this reason too. I don't know if everyone else's hands don't get as sweaty of I it just doesn't bother them. Even in cool weather these things make my hands sweaty.

    Zep product dilution

Just a quick follow up. I stopped by Lowe's today. The gallon size Citrus is clearly marked as a concentrate. But there was no such label on the gallon of 505. I might try and find a contact email and ask them myself but judging by the labeling and fine print on the bottles it seems the Citrus...

    Zep product dilution

I was going to keep an eye out for the LATA too. But the main thing I wanted to confirm was whether those dilutions start with the gallon of product or you just crack open a 32oz sprayer and pour some out? I wasn't seeing anywhere in all the threads where anyone mentioned that detail. I...

    Zep product dilution

I was going to pick up some Zep 505 and Citrus. I see people diluting them 1:1 and 1:4/1:10, respectively. Are those ratios using the gallon jugs of product or can those same ratios be applied to the spray bottle versions? I think those are typically pre-diluted? Thanks!

    My new favorite detailing brush

I've never seen a synthetic so I don't know what those are like. I can't imagine they'd be harsh though. I would think a silver tip would be a little bit of overkill. I don't even have one of those for my face! A standard, cheap, boar's hair is what I think would be best. I've seen one at...

Too cold for wash and wax with 845

Would the bottle it came in be one if those? I have a pretty new bottle on the shelf but I'm sure I won't go through it fast. It'll be there a while so I wouldn't want to lose a significant portion of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

First Paint Correction and Polish Attempt

I'm kind of a n00b but the answer is probably "it depends." It depends on the scratches, and on the paint. Doing a test spot is the first thing to do. I'm currently tackling a similar project myself taking care of some swirls and scratches in my Miata. I have had some success with a white...
