Went over the truck with white pad and MG 205 then MG #21 sealant. Looks like glass. Now i'm going to put 2 coats of wax on it. I will post pics after the wax.
Yes i do, and takes about 5 min. Use about 2 gallons. But then i dry with a leaf blower. Any water left over or that drips later won't leave water spots.:xyxthumbs:

I wash, two bucket system. Use foam gun. Just normal water for this stage.
Use a hand held pump type pesticide sprayer I got form Princess Auto that has RODI water in it for final rinse. Then I use a electric leaf blower to dry the car.
Only time cloth touches paint is washing, and there is...
i have a black ram 1500.
Would i benefit from going over the truck with meguirs 205 then #21 sealant for best shine and protection.
Has some very minor scratches already from just day to day use.
Was thinking red pad.

Thanks, and great car you have. I love the cobra. Would be my first choice, but funds were limited.
I already have a very meticulous wash routine. Most of those scratches came from the previous owner. I also have a 14 ram black express. This truck is all black everywhere. I use the two bucket...
RO ( reverse osmosis) water that also goes through a DI resin.
LOL. Sorry, I have an rodi system for my saltwater tanks. But anything that is purified, which means no TDS (total dissolved solids), which means no water spots.
I have rodi water in a pesticide sprayer. So my final rinse is with that. Then the blower. But I have found that I don't need the rodi water with the blower, as long as i get it all off the car.
Don't use a drying towel. I use a electric leaf blower. Less chance for scratches. As long as you have good coat of wax, the water runs off really easy with the blower.
Oh ya I know the feeling. Funny how black looks so grey under those lights.
I have some plastic pieces that are painted black, and they look absolutely dull grey under intense light. I am in the same boat. It looks great under direct sunlight now, looks like glass. Before I could see all kinds...
Thanks, I tried to take more before pics, but they didn't show much. Too many cloudy and rainy days here for good pics.
I couldn't have done this without all the help from this site.
