Thanks. I tried Goo Gone on a qtip (can't reach it otherwise) . It didn't seem to remove it. I thought it was a weird direction to get a scratch as well.
I will try some IPA
We bought our car out of state. I was removing the state inspection sticker from the inside windshield. I used Goof Off, a hair dryer and a razor
Looks like I may have left a 1/2" horizontal scratch. It's above where the VIN is and not noticeable unless looking for it. I'm surprised this...
Found a scratch on my Escalade's black wheels. Griots Paint Correcting Cream didn't seem to help. It's tiny and there are 3 small "white marks."
Is there a particular paint I can use? High gloss black
Thank you
Hello. Have a '25 Escalade. I was doing the initial wash on it and noticed a pen tip sized dot on the drivers side door.
Not sure if this is from a small rock or a defect in the paint. I hadn't noticed it before
Thoughts ? Claying it did not remove it (no surprise). It *appears* to be raised...
Thank you Mike! Great pics. That’s the anniversary Trans Am if I remember correctly. My high school wet dream. I have decided to set up an appointment with a local sign company for the install. My truck is a raptor, the graphics were $700 and I don’t want to take the chance !

1. What should I use to prep the area to remove wax etc ?
2. These graphics are $650/pair and I’m really trying to ensure I do this right. Does a spray bottle with a soapy mix still...
My Raptor did not come with bedside “Raptor” graphics, and I’m considering putting some on. My truck only has wax (Chemical Brothers Hydra Slick). Is dawn soap and water sufficient to prep the surface ? I’m assuming isopropyl alcohol would be harmful to painted surfaces ?
thank you
ps: Any...
Thank you for the replies. So I just need something confirmed. A local detailer I spoke with said my scratches could not be addressed. He said : “Once you can feel them with your finger, cerium oxide won’t help. You need to replace the glass.” He basically said that cerium oxide and rayan pads...
Thanks for the replies. What kind of costs can I expect from wrapping the bumper, hood and fenders ?
Can I expect to see discrepancies in the paint (compared to what was not protected) once the film is removed down the road ?
