Question on McKee's 37 Coating Prep Polish

Will McKee's 37 Coating Prep Polish do anything to correct paint, or do I need to decon, clay, correct the paint, and then polish with McKee's Prep Polish before coating? Oh, and while I have your attention, is there any advantage to layering McKee's coating? Thanks in advance for your help.

Anyone ever try the detail while you .... angle??

If your space was large enough, you could meet them at the departure terminal at the airport, keep their car and detail it while they were gone, then take it right to them at the arrival terminal when they returned. Curb to curb service. Detailing and parking in one package.

    Audi A5

Sorry I'm late to the party, but...I get good results on my Audi S5 with Speed on LC Orange. I've used microfiber on it to remove etching, but they mar and I have to come back with something else. My car is Gray, not black. Not sure if there's a hardness difference between the colors, but I...

    Any classis car buffs??

Just let me know if you need anything as you go forward. Sorry to hear about your back. Believe me I understand, having had back issues for 26 years from being thrown out of a 2nd story window of an undisclosed location in a previous life...

    Any classis car buffs??

Dave - Your Essex was built before anyone was doing full steel tops. The top for your car would've been a lightweight fabric, painted, varnished or treated to make it waterproof (when finished, it looks a lot like leather). It would have had binding around the edges to hide the tack strip. When...

Help Please, Poishing F-150 Platinum Non Coated Polished wheels

After damaging a wheel an an accident, I learned the Ford Truck wheels that look like polished aluminum are actually powdercoated in a quite realistic aluminum color. When I get scratch marks from my wheel brush and I'm able to polish them out using the same process I use for paint. Even when...

Newbie: Porsche Black, swirls & scratches all over the car, PC7424, FG400, SF4000 and LC HT pads

So, I might actually be able to help you here. I've had a black 996 cab for several years and I was never able to really get it right. I tried combination after combination, but have never been satisfied. This is what finally worked for me: Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with orange Lake...

    Porsche Detailing Help

The thread has pretty much become wash technique/products, but you may still be interested to hear what I came up with for my Porsche paint. I have a black Carrera cab. For years, I wrestled with trying to get the paint where I wanted it. Porsche paint is quite soft. Combine that softness with...

    96 Black Porsche 993

So, I might actually be able to help you here. I've had a black 996 cab for several years and I've never been able to really get it right. I've tried combination after combination, but have never been satisfied. In fact, I thought Megs 105/205 made it worse instead of better. This week, I...
