Interior: Cigarette Smoke embeded in fabrics

My McCulloch 1385 arrived Wednesday. I steam cleaned the entire interior and for the first time since I purchased the car, leather is the predominate smell in the car. The lingering smoke smell is almost completely gone. I have some So2Pure being delivered soon which I'll give a try to get...

Interior: Cigarette Smoke embeded in fabrics

I'm going through the same thing right now. So far I have tried the Meg's Odor Eliminator can. It didn't really do much for me. I tried an Ozium gel can. It does an OK job but not perfect. I then tried AutoVaccine. It has done the best but still not quite where I want to be. After...

How do you know when clay bar is done

I picked up some Blackfire Clay Cleaner/Extender. It really is amazing. I use it as I'm claying once the clay starts getting dirty. Spray it on the clay, work it with my fingers then I run the clay under warm water to soften it up. BLACKFIRE Clay Cleaner & Extender, detailing clay bar...

How to clean weather tech floor mats?

I spray mine with APC and then use my soap bucket for my wheels and use a tire brush to scrub them. Seems to work OK. I've also wiped them down with CG's Innerclean when they're not that dirty.

    Feel dumb asking but....

I used blue painters tape once. Spent more time removing the line it left behind than I did doing the correction work I was trying to do a before/after of. I haven't bought any of the 233 yet, but I will...

    Metro Vac N'Blo feedback....

Not to hijack, but any feedback on the Vac N Blo Senior unit would be appreciated. I guess they all have the same HP so they probably all function similar. I like the idea of mounting it on the wall and having a long hose. I'm too on the fence about picking one up. Was hoping AG would have...

    Tornador

Thanks. I assume you just use it with an APC?

    Tornador

Anyone use a Tornador for cleaning/detailing bikes? I've been thinking about picking one up to do the interiors of my cars but have resisted because I will also need to get a better (bigger) air compressor. I was thinking the Tornador would probably good for bikes as well cleaning all of the...

A bit off topic: Polish bowling balls?

Yes. Do not polish your bowling ball unless it is a plastic spare ball. Your best bet is to clean it using a product specifically for bowling balls after each use. You would be amazed at how much oil a bowling ball will absorb over time. When it does this the ball loses its grip on the...

    Buffer/polisher STORAGE

Didn't know that. Thanks for the tip. I'll lay them so the BP is up.

    Buffer/polisher STORAGE

I thought about hanging the machines from peg board, but I was concerned that over time dust/dirt would mess them up. Not sure if that is a legitimate concern, but that was my thought process.

    Buffer/polisher STORAGE

I just added a Flex 3401 to my PC 7424XP. I used to store the PC in a cabinet on a shelf along with all my other detailing supplies. Thanks to all the sales that AG had over the holidays beginning on Black Friday, I ran out of room in my cabinet so the Flex wouldn't fit. Ended up going to...

    Pre-Wash

I am currently using a pressure washer to rinse first, then use a foam cannon. The next step I've done both ways, but don't know what the general consensus is (for those that use foam cannons) is. Do you: A) Start washing using the 2-bucket method with mitt while the foam is still on the car...

New truck, need advice for durability finish

Read over this thread about 845. It'll tell you everything you need to know. I've been applying it using my PC and a LC Crimson Hydrotech pad. Happy with the results. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/how-articles/40243-collinite-845-definitive-how-guide-legendary-wax.html

    The Eagle...errrr....FLEX PE8 has LANDED!

If you have no prior experience with a rotary polisher, would getting one of these be a bad idea? I have done a few vehicles with a PC and will soon be using my new 3401, but don't have any experience with a rotary. I was thinking one of these would be perfect for motorcycles.
