Yes. I coated mine with C5 and have had no issues with weights not sticking.

Okay guys, thanks for all of the replies. I'm sold. I'm going to go. Only decision now is to make it a family trip and hit up Disney or to make it a guys trip and focus on cars and scuba diving.

I'm a hobby detailer, and a life-long car enthusiast. I'd be interested in attending Detailfest 2017, but I am curious if I'd be out of my element. Do other hobby detailers attend? (and by attend I also mean do they travel 800 miles each way?)

This. I wouldn't clay unless your are going to follow up with an AIO at a minimum.

Interesting. This certainly would be the most cost-effective method of iron removal. My interest is peaked. I've never heard of D101 being used for this purpose before now.

Why do you say that? He's just wanting to polish, prep, and coat it. Granted he wants to use an AIO for the polish, so he'll need to strip the wax/sealant before coating, but his plan is not terribly unorthodox.
