    Your favorite "smelling" leather cleaner?

I use Zymol leather cleaner and conditioner; the version with both in one pack. Both smell great and leave a matte finish. For some reason the individual bottles versions have a different smell. Sent from my SM-S908U using Autogeekonline mobile app

    Trim restoration

I've tried others, many are worse than meguiar's. But if meguiar's is applied to a thoroughly clean surface then re-apply to a freshly washed surface each time, after 3 to 4 applications it'll start to last a long time. At least that's been my experience. I know officially the products don't...

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

It looks like it would work. I liked the foam behind the fuzzies and scubbies but the handle doesn't stay in!! Came out the first use. I don't see a good way to modify it (thought about adding Velcro or elastic). The post insert that goes into the foam is stainless steel, not plastic so...

    Encounter with a dealer

Remember dealers regular pressure wash the cars in the lot awaiting purchase. Water spots. What's a water spot?!!! Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline

    Winter Road Salt

I use a similar technique. I mix Meg's Gold Class real heavy in a spray bottle then generously spray the whole vehicle. By the time I'm done, the salt and soap have become one and I use a garden hose to spray it, alternating between light misting, heavy spray, cascading water. Then wash by hand...

    Real talk!! Instrument cluster swirls?!?!

I use Meg's PlastX. Only go over small actions at a time. I use enough to keep it clear for 3 minutes of polish, then wipe clean and repeat until I get the results I want. If I can still see fine scratches, in bright sunlight for example, I use Meg's Plastic Cleaner #17 & Clear Plastic Polish...

    Stumped

Completely agree with Polish and clean towels. I've only had mediocre success with waffle-weave towels. And limited success with MF. My best success is with older baby cloth towels and well used terry towels. But most of any success is from polishing the glass (often times as a contortionist)...

Some silly issues I need advice on

In cases like this I've had great success using Goop hand cleaner, the original one. Tire has to be dry. I smear it around then wipe off with disposable cloths (not paper towels). It can be messy if you're not careful but it works. Then follow up with a quality degreaser, per usual . The process...
