For rims I use an old MF towel an the left over RW. Then just dry. I usually wash my tires with a brush and APC in the driveway (I RW in the garage).

Sorry if I missed it but...did you do any IPA/Eraser wipe between compound and Essence?

Just ordered some Essence and their gloss pad. I plan on compounding with D300 and MF pads. Do I need to add a step between compound and Essence? Thanks, Newb
