Cobra Supreme 530 Microfiber Why only one side usable

I have used both sides of my MF towels from multiple sources and never had any marring issues. Sure, the shorter nap side is better for removing polish, but it works just fine for other uses, such as QD'ing, as well. My problem with some of the thicker towels I've purchased is linting. I...

Suggest a wash mit specifically for ONR.

I know I'm in the minority, but I use a sheepskin mitt with ONR. On the lower panels, I use a chenille mitt. I just feel the sheepskin is the softest, and when using ONR I want to reduce the risk of marring as much as possible. I know what Dr G says, but I have a mental block about using an MF...

    Waxing Wheels?

Collinite 845 works incredibly well on wheels. Believe me, I know. Last winter was brutal and it my wheels looked perfect when I finally got to wash the wheels real well in the spring.

    Finish Kare 1000p questions

It will stain trim. Be careful with it. I find it very finicky to use, but the results are great. Yes, be VERY thin with it. And two coats will give you best durability. I love the stuff, but I have such a time with it that I'm using something else this winter. I'm sure it's just me, I...

    Collinite 845...ehhh

I'm sorry the OP had a bad experience but I love 845. It is the best on wheels. Really protects through a long salty, chemically winter. I applied to my paint in March and it's still going strong. It will easily last until my October fall detail.

    Wheel Sealants

Collinite 845 works amazingly well. I wasn't able to hand wash my car at all this past winter, and we had huge snows with lots of salt and chemicals on the road. When the weather finally broke and I started washing my wheels, I couldn't believe nothing stuck to them. They were easy to clean...

    toughest sealant?

It's important to remember that durability and protection can be two different things. Zaino may hang around for a long time, but in my experience it does not provide as much protection as many other sealants that may not last quite as long. Personally, I find that water is much more likely to...

Is there anything for faded plastic?

Gtechniq makes a product called C4 that's a permanent trim restorer. It is supposed to work amazingly well. You have to get it from their site in the UK. I have not used it personally, but I have used their C2 and it is an excellent sealant.

    Need help with polish choice

Menzerna Power Finish is a very good one step polish. They recommend if you have a very dark color, you should step down to something like Menz 85RD. I used Power Finish on my black car today and it left a very nice finish. I still used the 85RD afterwards, but the improvement wasn't all that...

What's a good car wash soap to use ?

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Glow is my favorite right now. You have to follow the directions on how much to use because it is strong. I use just one capful in my bucket and that is plenty - lots of suds and it cleans better than any wash I've used. I have yet to try it in the foam gun, but...
