    Old Triumph Paint Restore

As far as a car wash to start with, I'm wondering how Meguiar's Wash Plus+ would do in this instance? I've used it on an oxidized RV and it worked well to remove tougher dirt. Just a thought.

    Dyer venting

How do houses burn down because of a dryer venting into the garage? Mine vents out through the roof.

    Hydration Detailers?

What are you describing here? Sounds interesting. I agree with water, water, water, and a supplement of some kind to replenish electrolytes as needed. I'm personally not a fan of anything with artificial sweeteners, colors, and flavors. Not necessary to me. But to each their own.

    GG6 stopped working

In my experience with brushes I've always known them to fail because of: 1. Normal wear (too short to make good contact with the commutator). Most common. 2. Possibly a brush wire gone bad (loose connection). My experience with brushes was from 7 years as a field service tech for fitness...

    How to fix Lexan windows

I meant to add two more things also: I would have to guess there are different types of Lexan, or perhaps different coatings on them like was mentioned above. I've never tried to polish out Lexan on a car, only on motorcycle. I don't even know if all of the motorcycle windshields I've polished...

    How to fix Lexan windows

I saw this thread a few days ago but didn't have the time then to type out a reply. My experience with Lexan has been in buffing motorcycle windshields. I do a fair amount of motorcycle details, and have buffed a fair amount of motorcycle windshields with varying success. Often, the UV coat on...

Why am I so bad at cleaning wheels?

In my opinion: Buy a dedicated wheel cleaner. Makes a huge difference. They're formulated to address the specific contaminants found on wheels, and they clean tires better. I would suggest Meguiar's D143. I use wheel woolies for the barrels and between the spokes, a wheel woolies boars hair...

    What are you eating?

Scrambled eggs from my organically-fed chickens (not quite free-range but they have a big run), an apple, blueberries from bushes my Grandfather planted 25ish years ago, and a glass of milk from a localish dairy. Not as cool as Ronkh. I tried. Lol.

    Megs detailing apron

I wear one almost always when detailing. Keeps compound off my clothes when buffing, plus I can keep a terry towel or pad-cleaning brush in one pocket for on-the-fly pad cleaning, and an MF in the other for wiping off compound. I usually also keep a hotel room key in a pocket for spreading...
