    Griots New G9 Polisher

I have a 2nd GG6 that is kind of on its way out. Barely been used. If it goes what are odds GG would teolace with this tool as opposed to extra of the third gen gg6 they probably have a lot of laying around?

    Which Electric Pressure Washer

Karcher K5 for me. Gone solid for about 2+ years. I do see Karcher has moved to some Wall-E vaccuum design now. Who knows what will happen in the future. SunJoe's go on sale regularly enough that I might pick one of those up if my Karcher bites the dust.

Griots Garage - Customers for Life

I really like Griots. They have gone from one of those regional companies making their own versions of detailing products to really defining the industry now. Very receptive to customers requesting changes to formulas such as making Best of Show wax easier to remove. One of the best warranties...

    Review: McKee’s 37 Glass Coating

If you don't have a new windshield, or it is usually parked outside, wouls you suggest claying the glass and then lightly polishing it before. Or just a nice wash, maybe decontaminate the glass and get it as clean as possible before the coating? Great review though.

    Collinite 845 problems.

Same thing happened with me the last time I used 915. I wanted to apply by hand since it had been a while, forgot it should be very thin and let it dry a bit too long. Could not wipe it off after no matter if I used my best microfiber or even terry towels for some reason. Had to eventually use a...

Heck yeah, I can do that!!

That is amazing. I always appreciate those who do great interior detailing. I have never enjoyed it the way I have doing washing and waxi g or paint correction. Hopefully your client was blown away and his word of mouth along with the before and afters here get you a ton more work. I know I'd...

    Griots, Flex, Rupes DA clone

Is the new Meguiars basically a rebrand of this as well but built to their specs? I don't think they mentioned anything about who actually makes their tool beyond its made in China but supposedly is an American tool presence. I also guess I'm one of the few who likes the smaller porter cable...

New Polisher! What to do 1st?

Eh, you always want to use the least aggressive combination to start. No point in taking off more paint/clear than necessary, especially for daily drivers where you know it's inevitable some swirls will return. I'd start with the white pad and Ultimate Polish, then inspect the swirls, if you...

    Automatic car wash YUCK!!!

How the heck do you mess up a car three days after it's been professionally detailed and all defects removed? Why were the car owners even washing it 3 days after defect removal and using an automatic car wash no less? Seems like they realized that the car wash ruined the finish and tried...

meguiars Ultamate liquid wax or NXT texh wax

They're both synthetic products. Ultimate liquid wax is just newer and better. According to Meguiars, it's supposed to last longer, have better hydrophobic properties, is easier to apply and remove ie. Can be used in direct sunlight and won't stain vinyl/trim etc. Now all things are not equal...

Purchasing new porter cable + accessories...

The Flex 3401 is perhaps the best overall polisher. Nowhere near the danger of using a rotary in untrained hands, but the ability to go beyond what traditional DA polishers can do, due to its forced rotation. It's quite hard to damage the paint with a Flex but still possible. Most people don't...

    Shipping costs

Just saying that obviously PBMG/Autogeek know they're business best. At the end kf the day, this isn't personal, it's just business. You don't know what kind of deal they have with Amazon, what the fees associated with them are, what restrictions are placed on them etc. There's no grand...

FLEX Announcement for SEMA - Can You Guess What it is?

Flex Pocket/Petite/Mini etc. If it is the smaller 3" rotary looking tool, could use a variation on the PE-14, like PT for petite. Flex PTi is my choice.

    Shipping costs

But you're not factoring in the fact that Amazon.com and Autogeek.net are two different storefronts. I don't know why you can't see this? Autogeek is their site and set whatever price they need, they pay Amazon to list their items there, and have to compete against several other products and...
