Thrifty Vs Fifty : Ultima Waterless Wash + Concentrate vs Blackfire Interior Cleaner

Great video, very well done I thought. All I can say is "send this guy samples"! Maybe you could start a suggestions page (you'd probably get 1000's haha) and pick the best ones to make into videos. Best of luck

Got asked for invoice to show how I came up with my price

If a custom asks for something I don't see the point in giving them a smart a$$ bs response. They probably just wanted to know what you would be doing. Everyone is right, you don't have to tell them, just like they don't have to hire you. If you think you aren't charging enough feel free to...

Customer approached me today and wanted to know I would detail her van since they see me detail cars all the time....

Very nice :) It would be hard for her to explain to all her friends what was going on with the hood of her car if she didn't come back lol! Btw, one question, why did you use an orange pad again for the second step?

Btw, I'm glad things are going in the right direction now :)

anyone ever had their car bought back by the manufacturer?

I'd be surprised if they made you sign a NDA relating to what was wrong with your car, maybe about the price they give you. They won't admit anything, so there isn't really anything for you to disclose.

How to stop windshield from fogging up every morning ?

The problem is too much moisture in the air in the cabin. Air con gives you dry air, so it helps absorb a bunch of that moisture. Open windows, don't use recirculated air. P.S. you can use air con with the heating on high ;)

    Grit Guard Alternative

Maybe someone from autogeek, if they thought it was alright to share, could tell us how many they sold last year, or guess at on average how many they sell a week..... There are also maintenance fees that need to be paid on a patent, but he probably gets the cheaper "small entity" fee for that...

    Grit Guard Alternative

If you have found the solution why reinvent the wheel? This product seemed good enough for someone to patent, which would have cost $10,000+ to start with. As another poster said, time is money, if you wanted to save money then the most effective way probably would have been to buy 2 without...

Lemme try this again - Winter's coming - and that ain'

I don't know exactly how to post a link to the forum from my phone (other than probably going to the Internet), but there is a how to called " how to upload photos the auto geek way", I think it is currently about the 8th most recent on the how to articles, it has a YouTube vid, I found it...

What on Earth is this??? Please help

Quick update, car is being dropped at a different shop tomorrow, this place fixed the same car when a truck backed into it (the car is cursed lol!). They are providing a courtesy car (as I made it clear they should), they even offered to pick the car up from home/work haha. I'll let you guys...

Remove black hardened tar like goo?

I'd say it's rubber from an old school bumper... Either way it doesn't matter.

Remove black hardened tar like goo?

This might be a stupid question, but why not get his insurance to fix it? While most of the black stuff might come off, I'm guessing you will have damage to your paint also.

How to upload photos to Autogeek the proper way!

This was great, thanks for taking the time to make it :) FYI maximum photo size is 640 x 480 (500kb), and .png files don't work. As you said in the video stick with .jpg
