This is the message that I received from Rob from gtechniq the issue is that it can be hard to remove exo from c1 that has cured for too long. if you apply c1 and apply exo between 3 and 12 hours afterwards you will have no issues.

Thanks for the input everyone. They recommend waiting between 3-12 hours to top it with Exo, if you wait longer then 12 hours the c1 becomes to hard.

I just went through the same thing last month. What I did was I removed the bubbles with a knife and sanded the rust spots with 320 grit sand paper to get it sort of smooth, they say some rust should still be available for the por15 to adhere to. How did you get rid of the hazing? Do you think that if I just wait the 12-24 hour range before applying EXO everything will be ok?

Is CQuartz Finest similar to CQuartz UK? It doesn't look like I can purchase Finest.

The issue with gtechniq c1 is with combining it with Exo correct?

I was looking to purchase Opti-coat 2 but saw that Dp now has Dp paint coating. Has anyone tried both of these products, which do you prefer? I don't mind putting on every year. Application is not really an issue, I'm looking more for durability and appearance. Thank you
