I have both and it is MUCH better than the mirror bright. I'm not sure what everyone else experienced with it, but it was nearly worthless to me.

What size did you go with? I have an X too and will need tires in the next year. Can't decide if I want to go up to 285's or not.

Congrats on the new car purchase. You are correct that it is far easier to maintain it from the get go. I use WETS on my Xterra that has a ridiculous amount of exterior plastic and I find every few months to be sufficient. You definitely don't need to reapply with every wash. That being said...

OP, I can never see any of your pics. Any idea why? Sucks because I have an Xterra too and you're the only one on here with an X that regularly posts pics.

I'm not sure what else you could do besides just pressure washing. You can get a foam cannon and let the soap "dwell" but a lot of people say it doesn't help much.

My favorite is definitely the Showtime instant detailer. I love how well it works and the smell!! I'd love to write a detailed review of either of their new products but would be especially interested in the trim restorer.

LSP stands for "last step product" meaning wax, sealant, coating.... The terminology can be a little confusing as some people use them interchangeably. Coatings are generally pricy and a little harder to apply but will last much longer than a wax or synthetic sealant. All depends on what route...
