I have had much better results when I started with XMT4 and moved down to XMT3. I actually have gone to Megs #83 instead of XMT3, just personal preference I guess.

Collinite 845 for Wax. I use 3M Imperial Compound with Finishing Material for a Compound. XMT 360 for polish / sealant 1. 3M 2. XMT360 3. Collinite 845 Seems to be the most durable IMO.

I agree with the XMT360 recommendations but if you really want to add extra protection top the 360 with Collinite 845 on both the cars and the boat. The Collinite boat and car waxes are identical with different labels so buy the car version for a little less money.

I know you can use Klasse and SG but I have never used XMT. 3M makes an Imperial Compound with Finishing material that will remove the oxidation and be LSP ready. Wool does work well but so will the foam pads and since it is a smaller boat you may just need to clean your pad after completing one...
