    Drying Towel

Anytime! :xyxthumbs: You might be safe with the 16 x 24, but with such a minute price difference between the two towels, you might as well get the 20 x 40 and be done with it. OR, get the combo, and use the 16 x 24 oh your wheels. :props:

    Drying Towel

I use a Cobra HD waffle weave to get the majority of the water soaked up using the patting method, and then I switch over to a Cobra waffle weave 20 x 40 to get the rest of the water off. Works like a charm every time.

In the market for a new car, any Charger SRT-8 owners?

I can't comment on the paint, but I do know the LX cars have had front end problems from the get go. That's definitely something to watch out for, not to mention the "OMG!" cost of the brake hardware when it comes time to do it (SRT-8 has Brembos front and rear). Good luck. :xyxthumbs:

    WOWed products

In no particular order... 1. Megiuars ULTIMATE Quik Detailer - Leaves the surface so slick I could slide across the hood even if I was covered in 40 grit sand paper from head to toe. No kidding, it's THAT good. 2. DP Max Wax - Simple, nothing fancy about it, and not everyone and their...

What is your favorite car wash?

Pinnacle XMT Gel Shampoo, followed by Megs Gold Class. Megs Gold Class offers about 9/10th of the slickness that the Pinnacle does, but it's not nearly as concentrated.

    trying to decide??

You only live once, and if you can afford it, bite the bullet and buy a Flex. A Corvette convertible and a Miata both provide pleasurable top down motoring, and of course you can easily justify spending the money on the Miata versus the 'Vette for a summer car. But when winter is over and you...

    collinites 845-tips-please

This is one of the most frequently asked about waxes that I've seen on the forum. I'll share my experience... I finally decided to get a bottle towards the end of last summer, and I too had some questions about it. At first it appears real thick and chunky almost, but I asked around and...

My new Z, just in time for storage :(

Now THAT right there is justification for a higher education. I bet that VQ37 sreams as it's making its way past 7,000 RPM on the tach. Beautiful car.

    I need a glossy tire : DP,Optimum,PB ?

My go to tire dressing is DP Gloss Tire Gel, and that's how it will be as long as they keep making the stuff. :props: I prefer the low-gloss, matte finish so I use about a 1.5" strip of product on my tire swipe and that's more than enough to do my 65 series tires (1.5" strip per tire). But...

These Videos Keep Pro Detailers in Business

That actually made me LOL. :urtheman: I've been an "Autogeek" for about 6 months now and the amount of stuff I've learned from you guys and from those at Autogeek is mind boggling. I always used to wash my car with whatever was cheapest at Walmart and dry it with a chamois that has been in my...

    Four Star Ultimate Tire Protectant

Great idea! I've been using the DP Tire Gel for about 6 months now and I've never had a problem with "sling off". My tires are a 65 series so there is a decent amount of area to work with, but I apply about a 2" strip on a foam applicator that I bought from Autozone (very similar to the Cobra...

    Four Star Ultimate Tire Protectant

Now THAT'S how a tire shine should look. :props: I'm curious to see how well it holds up in the rain. Although I'm pretty much stuck on DP Tire Gel because of its satin look and excellent durability (not to mention the smell), I do love trying out new products and I think a spray would be...

    Wally World purchases....

Check out the "Clearance Isle" every now and then, you will find some killer deals. A couple months ago I happened to walk down that particular isle and picked up three 32 oz bottles of Mequiars Quik Detailer for $2.60 a bottle and while I was there I also grabbed two 48 oz bottles of Mequiars...
