This is actually a really good idea! I have a can of this stuff as well and it does work quite well.

My vote is for Goo Gone. That stuff works wonders. Got a couple stubborn stickers off my quarter window and windshield with no problem. Just not sure how you can get those adhesive strips soaked in it without getting it everywhere.

I use Sonax probably once a month on my Mustang and use it all the time on customers' vehicles and have never had any issues. It's a little pricey but I think it's great wheel cleaner. I have to say I've never tried it on wheels that looked that bad though.

My next mod will most likely be 3.73s. At this point I'm still daily driving my Mustang so I may keep the 2.73s a little longer. I've got the new 305 HP V6 so there's no shortage of power even with the 2.73s. Haha

From what I've seen and heard it works quite well. Also, sick Mustang! Sonic Blue is my favorite color. If they had the new Mustangs in that color I would have definitely gotten that.

Thanks! Black is my absolute favorite color to work with as well. It's so rewarding when it's all cleaned up especially when you start with something as swirled up as this was.
