Montana Boars Hair trashed my finish!!

So I rebuffed everything... I'm getting pretty good at that part... LOL Because I drive my car daily, after buffing I had to drive it. So when it got back home, before doing the paint cleaner, glaze, wax dance, I decided to give the brush a try since I had to wash anyway. Brush directly on...

Montana Boars Hair trashed my finish!!

I had a great conversation with Dwayne! It seems that maybe I did it to myself thru lack of understanding how to best use the brush. After I finish getting the webs out, I'm going to try 1 panel again, using the methods Dwayne suggested. As I unfortunately have to work for a living it will take...

Montana Boars Hair trashed my finish!!

My wife bought me the Montana Original Boars Hair Car Wash Brush for my birthday last week. We had a light rain today, so the car had little dust circles everywhere. Sadly the paint is in pretty sad shape, he spends a lot more time studying than maintaining the car. When he comes home over the summer, I thought I'd see about sprucing up the...

    Confused about where Glaze fits...

I've been reading and reading and reading... this site is addictive! Anyway, was browsing products and checkout out the glazes. I've got a dark gray finish, so PB Black Hole looked interesting. But I am a bit confused about where in my process it would go. So here's my current polish regimen...

    First Attempt at shiny!

The Z-18 seemed to give it just a bit more "pop"... I love the souveran look... deep and wet... decided to spritz on some z-18 and it still has the "deep dark wet" souveran look, but with just a hint more reflection. Still experimenting and learning, and spending $$ buying detailing toys! LOL
