    Gyeon MOHS Q2

Pulled the trigger and ordered the Gyeon MOHS 50 ml kit. Another question - you can't use the Gyeon MOHS on rims, can you? They're factory GMC Denali rims if that helps, clear-coated I assume.

    Gyeon MOHS Q2

I've been researching a lot over the past few days, and especially from what you guys have said, I'm thinking that the Gyeon MOHS Q2 and Ech2o as a QD is the way to go... One other question - any limitation on car wash soap? I use Meguiar's Gold Class on everything because it's easy to come by...

    Gyeon MOHS Q2

Thanks for the info everyone... Honestly, I was pretty concerned about the price, but diluting the Carpro spray seems pretty economical, and I'll definitely consider it. So safe to say I won't have any issues with QDs as long as they ARE a QD and not a spray-wax product, but some are more...

    Gyeon MOHS Q2

Quick question about the Gyeon MOHS Q2... It boasts hardness as one of its main features, so I was curious as to how difficult it is to polish it "off" when it is time to re-apply, or if I should just want to get rid of it and start from scratch?? Another quick question, what is an appropriate...

portable air gun/blower for drying ?..

I use a STIHL BR600 to dry the entire car... In all seriousness though - I've found that the less powerful blowers don't have much use in drying whole panels off. However, if you're just looking to do crevices and what not, then a battery powered one should be fine. Good point about...

    More CQuartz Questions

Thanks for the replies everyone. My only issue with the Reset shampoo is that it's 30 bucks a liter, and I tend to wash pretty often... Which is why I usually use Meg's Gold Class shampoo (no wax, just wash shampoo). I guess from what everyone's saying it's a matter of seeing what works well...

    More CQuartz Questions

Hi everyone, I posted a while ago with some CQuartz questions and now I have a few more... First off - from what I understand coating over it with wax would sort of inhibit the hydrophobic properties of the coating and what not, so I've decided against that... However, is it safe/recommended...

Need new pressure washer, any recommendation?

Yes, of course GPM is a measure of flow versus pressure... But as you said, it's important to remember that the pump can't flow out more than what is being supplied to it...

Need new pressure washer, any recommendation?

FYI to OP - The "heaviness" of the foam from your foam lance doesn't have anything to do with the GPM of the pressure washer, but rather the pressure. The foam is "created" by both the liquid involved (water, and the soap mixture being drafted from the container) and the compressed air produced...

    CQuartz Questions

Ok, thanks. Wasn't sure on how permanent it was. Any suggestions from anyone on application conditions? And if a second coat is recommended/necessary? Also - when to use reload, if I even have to?

    CQuartz Questions

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. I have one more question. For some reason, if I completely hate the coating or have some sort of problem with it, how easy is it to get off, can compound take it off?

    CQuartz Questions

Hi everyone, Looking for information on coating my truck in CQuartz by CarPro, and have a lot of questions about it. First off, wondering how much is necessary for one coat of an entire truck (2006 Sierra Crew Cab 2500) . Also wondering if a second coat is suggested. Any difference between...
