I never wash my wax and sealant towels together with all others, especially glass towels which get a dedicated washing all by themselves. What type of washer are you using? I have an industrial front load (Wascomat) and never have trouble.

I had a similar problem and it ended up being wax residue. I'm not sure if this is applicable here but once I stripped the glass using glass polish and IPA the coating started working as expected. I also used new blades.

Forget about the hydraulics. That would be like protecting your shock absorber piston rods. If you have painted surface I would wipe it down with a good spray wax like OCW, Fuzion spray wax or even Meguiars spray wax. Is it painted or powder coated?

AIO is also good for preserving your clear coat if you're just looking for a polish touch up and not a full polish. I use it once a year and always top with wax (Collinite and OCW weekly in my case).

I have two bottles that turned to jelly. I will give it a try and use it on some polycarbonate that I don't really care about. I never thought about IPA. It should be fine. I think it turns to jelly because it was too close to saturation at time of manufacture.
