    Headliner Challlenge

Folex -Fail... So went out and got some Folex and did two treatments on my headliner. First direct spary method and blot. Second sprayed a brush and tapped it into the stain then blot. I'd post pic's but the side by side shows NO difference. I thought there would be at least some improvement but...

When is Cotton better than Microfiber?

Thanks everyone. El great response. I agree that cotton has its place. I'll definitely will pitch a cotton towel over a Mf. It takes a while for my mf's to get to the D pile.

When is Cotton better than Microfiber?

The way I look at it, I have two tools. If I had to choose only one I would go with MF but I have both. I'm just looking to see when I might pull out the cotton and why.

    Headliner Challlenge

I have a headliner stain that looks like it was already worked over with some aggressive scrubbing (see pic below) My original thought was to use a soft brush and some APC and a microfiber towel and lightly agitate and blot a few times. Does anyone have a better approach? Thanks in advance.

Strick Through vs Burning Paint - Difference?

I read somewhere that non-metal surfaces like bumpers do not dissipate heat as metal does. I was wondering if you can burn the paint on these surfaces vs abrading through. So is there a difference between a strike through vs a burn through. Do any of you keep track of temperatures as you are...

    Klasse Twins-DONE Maintenance Suggestions?

I tried some Glanz and it did seem to give a boost to the SG and provided additional slickness. After a light rain shower, it was extremely hydrophobic. Looked kinda cool having all these M&M sized droplets on my hood. I did not experience any cloudiness and my silver finish seemed to be just a...

Did I go through the clear?

Thanks for the replies. So the question becomes. When do you stop? Paul A - I used Foam Hydro Pads. Inspect for what specifically? When do you abandon? pdqgp - My wife's car. For those who feel the gauge is too pricey, what does a paint job cost? We took the car downtown and notices it got...

Did I go through the clear?

That's what I thought. Let's turn this into a learning opportunity. Where did I go wrong? 1. Cleaned the area with QD 2. Nail tests no hang or catch. 3. Blue (Cutting) 3" LC hydro pad UP by hand 4. Blue LC hydro pad UC by hand 5. Blue LC Hydro pad UP Porter Cable speed 6 (3 applications)...

Did I go through the clear?

Hello Experts, Please take a look at the attached image. I think I may have gone through the clear on a silver G35. I was using Megs ultimate compound with a 3 in LC blue hydro pad speed six, trying to remove a scratch. Some improvement then I notice a light spot. Assistance appreciated.

Leather Maintenance on 2017 Acura RDX

Thanks funx650 I will probably use Griots Interior APC and get some Optimum Leather protectant. I am looking for some brushes to do regular maintenance, any suggestions without breaking the bank. Some of the brushes can be really spendy. Thanks
