I read that somewhere. The math works out if it's true (I think). I ask because I saw a lot of talk about getting a 5hp+ vac. But if you can only get 2.x HP, why worry about it? Just get a 2hp vac. Hoping for thoughts? Is it all just marketing on the HP?
I tried different microfiber towels and they were junk for glass. I ended up using a dish towel. It was the kind that didn't have lint. I don't know what you call it, not like a bath towel.

Oh. I see, but isn't this the coat the gets the bugs, droppings, protects from UV and all that? Seems like it would be tougher than that. Strange how things really work. I never thought detailing was, so, well, detailed. :)
When you guys talk about scratching paint with microfiber, does that mean the clear coat as well?

Dumb question. If you scratch the paint on a car, light to medium scratch, why does buffing it with a compound get rid of it? It's still cut into the paint. I know it works but I don't understand it.
