    Tapeing Over Decals

personally if i was doing it i would use masking tape over decals when polishing paint. final step is a choice if the decals have crap on them polish them with final step but do it spairingly. I would remove tape and wax over decals but only one pass with polisher. My 0.02$

It is Possible to Wash a Vehicle Too Much??

Question do you service the brakes once a year. Which is take them appart and clean up all moving or sliding areas where the pads move on the calipers. If you do not there is a chance that you are experiencing premature failure to brakes sticking and wearing prematurily. Just a thought good luck

What are these little red spots on my car?

Sounds like fallout or brake dust. spots start out black and then turn to red or orange before being removed. you can also use a clay bar to remove them. With a good coat of wax they stick less and remove much easier. much more noticeable on white but can be seen on darker colors and can easily...

What's your can't-miss approach for salt in carpet?

I went to a janitorial store and purchased a gallon of product that works on salt in carpets. You only use an ounce for a gallon so it will last me and my friends a lifetime. Works well as I have been using for years. you can also buy spray products that work just as well for more money. your choice

    This Forum

I do detailing on the side and follow multiple forums about detailing. I am retired and have been detailing for 30+ years and got serious in the last 15. Other than my own and familys vehicles i am paid for abut 50 cars a year. I must say this is the best forum to follow. THANKS Autogeek.

    Cleaning brown tires

I like Westleys Bleach White Tire Cleaner. I use it on all tires and rims including chrome and painted rims. Wet tire to remove loose dirt. Spray liberally and then use a tire brush to agitate. rinse off before drying. Love the results for tires and rims. Removes brake dust :)
