Looking at your top prices I would say that you need to be the best detailer in your area in order to get paid that kind of money. ( even if it takes a long time) and you need high end customers. No one is going to spend 600 plus on a Ford.

If you do it yourself, because its your hobby and you have nothing else to do with your time and energy, then you are correct. Why not kill the clear coat with constant polishing and correction.

Is this a business truck or personal transportation? 1200 a year to dust of a car sounds like a lot of money. However, if it a business truck it may not be too much. I would never pay that much. But, many people would say, charge what the traffic bears.
