If you are concerned about the brake dust, I have found that the armour all wheel protectorate spray keeps the brake dust off. It makes a huge difference. It's $7 at walmart give it a try.

Thanks all for your comments, I don't have a thickness gauge as this is just a hobby for me and my car. I thought the orange CC pad was pretty aggressive. Perhaps I need to talk to someone in GA that does this for a living...

I found this write up on wet sanding BMW's. Apparently BMW's have terrible orange peel by default: BMW E92 M3 Ultimate Wetsand By KDS - Detailing World However the clear coat is typically very hard and very thick.

So do most BMW's have an orange peel look to them?

I'm starting to come to that conclusion.

I'm looking for some input about what appears to be orange peel on my silver BMW 2008 535i. I've used some M105 on it with a white pad and topped it off with M205 with a softer pad. However all over the car it looks like the factory paint has orange peel. I just don't feel like I'm getting...
