I can't seem to find a good article explaining all of the definitions of various coverage for us mobile detailers.
I'm not sure which one of these covers damage that I've done to a vehicle such as me burning paint off the fender of a Ferrari. I thought that was garagekeeper's, but reading...
I keep it simple:
1) Costco Kirkland yellow microfibers - (All purpose)
a)Virgin towels for paint or gentle areas
b)less gentle situations after first wash (rugged interiors)
c)even less gentle situations after second wash(wheels)
d)condition of the towels after washing...
I don't know the full situation going on in South Africa, but if that particular community is in a serious drought then I think there should rightfully be set some water restrictions with washing vehicles until that community can get it under control. There are many methods with today's...
For dust, debris, pet hair, and even bugs, i got a roomba 877 for christmas and havent looked back.
At first i thought it would be some sort of gimmick novelty item but it truly surpasses my expectations every day. It goes off each day on schedule and returns to its charger after about 1.5 hours...
In case you were still wondering. I called the Car Washing and Polishing Registration Unit of the State of California Department of Industrial Relations. The lady I spoke with told me that it is not necessary for a sole proprietor mobile detailer to have this registration. She said if I were to...

The state told me it...
The costs associated with starting a mobile detailing business in my area is quickly becoming a nightmare. Each tiny city (averaging 30 sq. miles) within my county is a corporation, meaning I would need a separate business license with a fee of around $100 each. All of this on top of a...
Yet another post regarding us Californians. It looks like this registration is going to cost $300, along with a minimum of $150,000 in a car wash bond? I'm not exactly sure what a car wash bond is but I'm assuming it's like insurance. I've read through a lot of material on this and it all seems...
Yeah you're right, but even if you do happen to use it on some aluminum wheels, you can polish it back to a lustrous shine with a good aluminum polish.
Thanks for the great info.
I'll probably just have to resort to doing something similar to that video for engine detailing.
As for wheels I'm curious to what video you are referring to. I'm thinking of just starting on the wheels first, placing cheap rags around the wheel like you said...
