What iron remover did you use? I was thinking of trying Griots.

I want to clay my car before winter sets in and was wondering if I am going to clay it do I need to use an iron remover. I thought that is what claying was for.

Dumb question. What are the advantages of flat pads over the other type with beveled edges?

Any suggestions as to which pads to order?

After thinking about it I was wondering if I would be better off buying the G9 and and the CCS Lake Country 6 pack of foam pads and picking what pads I want. My paint on my Jeep is in pretty good condition so it needs very little correction.

I think I am going to order the 5.5 inch flat pad kit.

I would probably buy from Autogeek along with some other items.

Does the lifetime warranty only apply if you buy from Griots?

I currently have a PC 7424 (not the XP) and was considering the purchase of a G9. Would this be an upgrade from the PC 7424. I am only using it on my wifes and my own car.

I ordered a foamaster, firemans nozzle and a couple of sheepskin wash mitts.

I have been using the Klasse twins topped by a coat of P21S paste wax on my silver car with good results and durability. I try to detail my car once a month weather permitting. I am going to try using the Wolfgang products topped with the P21S first chance I get.

I have a porter dap and some foam pads. I have been looking at the edge pads. Has anyone tried them? I like the idea of no backing plate

Just looking for some feedback. I am going to order a foamaster and a new washmitt. Not sure if I should go with the Sheepskin & Mesh Wash Mitt or the Cobra microfiber wash mitt.
