    Mercedes CL 500 '10 - Paint correction

Very nice results,, could a less abrasive pad then the wool acrilic have been used for the 1st step or was the wool acrilic the least aggressive for the task?

WG or Ultima cleaner/protectant for coated leather?

I use the WG leather cleaner/conditioner combo and am happy with the results. I feel the cleaner gets the dirt/sweat/oils off the leather well. The conditioner leaves a nice non sticky/ non greasy feel as well and protects from uv rays. Be sure to vacuum before using the cleaner.

    Really dirty wheel cleaner?

p21s gel to get most of the baked on brake dust/gunk and then iron-x to really clean the wheels, it really makes claying almost optional.

    Iron X Meets Neglected Civic

Nick, was there a noticable difference in the feel of the paint after using iron x? This product is on my list, however I believe most of the black spots on my paint is due to tar and not metals.

Leather Scratch Repair - any advice?

    What Sealant would you choose??

The best I've used so far as been the Menzerna Power Lock sealant ( I have not used BFWD yet). The powerlock slickness seems to lessen within a few weeks but the protection and wet-look gloss is still strong. It's by far a better looking sealant then wolfgang dpgs 3.0! Ultima UPGP is great and...

Did a little paint repair on the wifes 4runner today.

Im not so sure that carfax will pick up the insurance payout regarding your 4runner. I think carfax is just a gimmick and basically worthless. Why would there be concern of how clear was removed? It looks as though some of the before pictures had paint transfer from the other car.

    What do I do?

First off, that car is awesome!!. Although the paint may not be 100% perfect when the car arrives, I suspect that it will look great and be scratch/swirl free. The more the paint is touched the more chances that swirls will be scratched into the paint. 1. learn the proper methods to wash/dry...
